Style Meets Function: Glenview Renovation
Our clients wanted to transform both the style and function of their home.
Our goal was to increase the functionality, expand the usable living and working space and update the architecture, finishes and furnishings to reflect their style. By moving the laundry to the second floor and expanding the kitchen we created a functional mudroom and kitchen meant for cooking and entertaining family and friends. Adding a den connected to the family room with a beautiful bar also expanded the entertainment opportunities and created a better flow throughout the first floor.
We designed and built a functional home office full of custom touches and bathed in light. Custom cabinetry was also featured in the master suite to create a beautiful dressing area, optimized closets and specialized storage. The master bathroom was redesigned to create a welcoming, open and functional space full of high-end finishes and custom touches catered to our clients lifestyle. The guest bedroom and bathroom were also renovated to create a welcoming space for guests. The finishing details in the trim work, custom paneled foyer ceiling, wainscoting, lighting and furnishings made this project simply impeccable.

Architectural elements abound, from wainscoting in the family room and stairwell to custom transom windows above the office and dining entrances. The paneled ceiling in the foyer ties these details together, creating a cohesive design throughout the home.
High-end finishes and a mix of metals in fixtures, hardware, and tile make a statement in every room.
Notably, a custom-made ottoman/coffee table features two identical upholstered ottomans with maple wood sliding trays—an exceptionally functional and stylish addition to any family room!
