Curated Furnishings And Craftsmanship in Buffalo Grove
Our client purchased a newly built townhouse and sought our assistance in furnishing it stylishly and comfortably to achieve a cohesive ambiance. Not only did we furnish the three-bedroom home from top to bottom, but we also incorporated captivating architectural elements to elevate it from a generic ‘builder look’ to a custom-designed home.
To address the spaciousness of the two-story family room, we added wainscot trim on the second level, creating a more intimate and architecturally interesting atmosphere. The home office, complete with custom cabinetry for concealing technology and providing storage, stands out with fabric wallpaper, an exquisite light fixture, and a floating desk. In the master suite, we adorned the walls with wallpaper and curated custom furnishings, complemented by luxurious window treatments. The main family room invites guests to linger, featuring a custom bar, ample seating, and coffee tables that nest with ottomans. The dining area accommodates both intimate dinner parties and large family gatherings on a custom expandable table with comfortable and stylish dining chairs. The second floor family room is perfect for TV watching with ample cozy seating, a media area and Chicago themed artwork.
Throughout the townhome, custom window treatments, art, and carefully chosen accents contribute to the overall curated aesthetic.

Project Features and Highlights
In the home office, custom cabinet built-ins serve a dual purpose: they provide a secondary desk, ample storage, and discreetly conceal electronics like the printer.
Throughout the space, luxurious fabrics and wallcoverings add color and texture, complemented by striking accents and custom art, resulting in a meticulously curated finished look.
For durability and aesthetics, the custom furniture is upholstered in performance fabrics.
To counteract the cavernous feeling of the two-story family room, we implemented ‘reverse’ wainscoting on the upper section, introducing a unique architectural element
